Hi, My name is Tehana!
Let me tell you a bit about myself and this side hustle I have now turned into a business. 

I am a Beauty Therapist of 12 years and have my own business 'To Shine Beauty Collective'.
('To Shine' meaning "Tehana" in the Maori Language)
This is where 'To Shine Wedding & Event Hire's name was founded; to tie my 2 little business' together. 

To Shine Wedding & Event Hire was created after spending 2 years planning my own wedding, which was in January 2024, From there I decided I wanted to start a business to help people find affordable items for their own events & weddings, considering I enjoyed styling and organising my own wedding so much! 

I am super passionate about helping people and getting their ideas come to life. I'm happy to help with anything Wedding & Events from Hire Items, to Styling Ideas, to Signage, to Event Orders, to Recommending Vendors (Trust me, I've researched ALOT and met many vendors in the industry after being a Wedding Makeup artist for 12 years) 


By starting this business, I truly am wanting to help people in any way I can while they plan the event of their dreams, as my wedding was everything I could have dreamt of and made me want this for others.
